CBPD Future Fit



Growing communities with solid job opportunities requires a prepared workforce. Future Fit is a program designed to enhance technical skills for individuals who seek a career in advanced manufacturing. The program is funded by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Future Fit was developed by the UAFS Center for Business and Professional Development.


How it Works

Students work via computer on their own for three weeks. A schedule will provide deadlines by which modules must be completed. Reliable internet is MANDATORY. A learning coach will regularly visit with each student to ensure progress. Fourth week is conducted in person with instructor to complete hands-on component.


The Statistics

Those who completed the program were helped in their job search. Entry wages for those who accepted offers of employment ranged from $13 to $14.65 per hour and were directly employed by the companies.
