American Sign Language (ASL) Part One

During this six-week class, participants will learn the ASL alphabet, numbers, and over 400 signs that will help with communication within the deaf community and give them the language skills needed to carry on basic ASL conversations. Includes games and classroom interaction. This would be a great class for two people to attend together. Registration is required at least ten days before class start date. Class must have a minimum of ten registered students to be held. Payment of the class fee is required to be registered.

Spanish for Banking & Credit Unions

This course introduces you to Latin American Spanish language and pronunciation and will help build your confidence so you can communicate with your customers and provide them with higher quality customer service. Terms covered include basics such as meeting and greeting, questions and explanations, days, months, numbers, and time and timing. Also covered is banking terminology, cashing/depositing a check, problems with checks, problems with identification, opening an account, and credit and loan applications.

Spanish for Healthcare

This course introduces you to Latin American Spanish language and pronunciation and will help build your confidence so you can communicate with patients and their families and provide them with higher quality healthcare with fewer misunderstandings and confusion. Basic expressions such as meeting and greeting, family members, numbers and colors, days, months and seasons are covered, in addition to common symptoms and illnesses, injuries and trauma, doctors orders, body parts and organs, and medicines/dosages.
